Description
Pounceys Cottages, consisting of Nos. 1 and 2, are two houses that were originally one, built in the late 18th century. The cottages are constructed of brick and tile and stand two storeys tall with three windows. The roof is half-hipped at the north end and features a stepped stack on the south gable, along with a catslide at the rear and brick dentil eaves. The walls are made of header bond with some blue bricks, and there is a first-floor band, cambered ground-floor openings, and a plinth. The end walls have narrow horizontal bands of flint. The windows are casements, and there are two plain doorways, with No. 2 having a 20th-century tiled canopy supported by posts.
