Description

Pounceys is a house built in the mid-18th century, constructed from brick and tile. It features a wide front facing west, with two storeys and three windows. The roof is half-hipped, with a catslide section at the rear, and there are brick dentil eaves. The walls are laid in Flemish bond, and the ground-floor openings are cambered. The house has a plinth and casement windows. The plain doorway is topped with a canopy supported by carved brackets and features a four-panelled door. Above the doorway, there are two lead fire insurance signs.
