Description

The Old Forge is a cottage dating from the 18th century, with some restoration carried out in the 20th century. It features painted brick walls and a thatched roof. The building is positioned at right angles to the roadway and has a front (south) elevation that is one storey high with an attic, containing three windows above five. The roof is both hipped and half-hipped, with the eaves raised above two upper windows. The windows are casements, and there is a 20th-century porch that also has a thatched roof.
