Description

Heathside is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It features a hipped thatched roof, with the thatch swept up over the first-floor windows and down over an extension to the right. There is a flanking chimney, and the walls are constructed of brick, using grey headers and red stretchers. The cottage is 1½ storeys tall and has two 18th-century casement windows with leaded lights set in iron frames. A central gabled porch with a boarded door adds to its charm.
