Description

Cartref is a cottage that likely dates from the 17th or 18th century. It features a timber-framed structure with a thatched roof and a stone external end stack that has a detached brick chimney. The building consists of two structural bays positioned at right angles to the road. It is one storey with an attic and has two mid-20th century casement windows, along with two eyebrow dormers. There is an early 20th century porch with a thatched canopy on the right side, and a pantiled extension that was formerly a stable on the right gable.
