Description

The Willows is an early 19th-century house. It is constructed of brick with hipped slate roofs and brick stacks, two pairs of which are cylindrical. The house has a rectangular plan, aligned north/south, comprising a three-storey block to the north and a two-storey range to the south. The north elevation features a two-storey canted bay window on both the first and second floors, with the ground floor remaining unfenestrated; the elevation is characterised by deep eaves supported on brackets. The west elevation has a segmentally-headed ground-floor window and an entrance porch to the three-storey section. The two-storey section to the right has three windows, with 19th-century casements; the ground floor has a bay window to the left and a segmentally-headed window to the right of a gabled porch. A lean-to brick extension is situated at the right end.
