Description

Drury Cottages is a house, now divided into two tenements. It likely dates from the 16th century, with alterations made in the early 20th century. The house is built with a timber frame, which has been re-faced with stone and brick, and has a slate roof and brick stacks. It has a rectangular plan, with a main east/west range and cross-wings at each end. The south elevation has a 1:2:1 window arrangement, with 2-light casements from the early 20th century. There is one entrance in each gable front. The west cross-wing has exposed timber framing with narrow studs on its west and north sides.
