Description

Ivy Cottage is a cottage dating from probably the late 17th to early 18th century. It has a high rubble plinth and a timber frame with brick infill, topped with a tiled roof. Two external stone stacks feature brick shafts. The cottage has two storeys and three windows, with late 20th-century two-light casements. The ground-floor windows are set into the plinth, and there’s a gabled, glazed porch to the right-hand side. A timber-framed lean-to extension is at the rear. The timber frame is three panels high from the plinth to the wall-plate.
