Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage that possibly dates from the 18th century. It has a timber-frame structure with brick and plaster infill, and features external end stacks with detached brick shafts. The building is one storey with an attic and has two windows, which are 2-light casements from the mid-20th century. There are three windows on the ground floor and two in gabled dormers, with the entrance located in an extension to the left. The timber frame consists of irregular-sized panels, with three panels running from the cill to the wall-plate. There are diagonal struts from the right-hand corner post to the wall-plate and another similar strut to the right of the center.
