Description

Gothic Cottage is a pair of houses built in 1850. They are constructed of brick and feature a slate roof, standing two storeys high with an attic and three windows. The front has two steep gables adorned with decorative, pierced bargeboards. The red brickwork is laid in Flemish bond and includes yellow brick quoins, rubbed flat arches, and red hood moulds. The windows have cast-iron diamond pattern casements. There is a gabled porch with a pointed arch, above which is a diamond panel inscribed with "J W W 1850." The rear and east end of the building have been modernised.
