Description

The gazebo located at the rear of Nos. 23 and 25 East Street is an 18th-century structure. It is built of brick and features a tiled roof. This two-storey square building has an ogee roof topped with a cap and a weathervane, along with coved plaster eaves. The walls are made of red brick laid in Flemish bond with blue headers. There is a window on the upper floor on the north side, while the other sides have been bricked up. The south side has a ground floor arch, and there is a staircase approach on the east side that leads to a plain upper doorway. The gazebo has been recently repaired, and the north wall serves as the boundary with No. 27.
