Description
97 and 99 Chorley Street are a pair of houses built around 1840. They feature a rendered exterior over brick and have a slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high and have two parallel gables with a central entrance facing the street and side elevations. The street facade has a three-window arrangement, with a steep open pediment above a moulded doorcase, and flanking windows on each floor. The windows are two-light mullions with triangular heads and small panes. The doorway is located between the parallel gables on the lower return, where the window arrangement has been entirely renewed, and the gabled porch has also been renewed. The interior has not been inspected.
