Description

The Statue of James Dorrian, MP, was erected in 1898 and is the work of sculptor John Cassidy. This statue is made of white stone and depicts a standing figure on a concave sandstone plinth, which features a laurel relief. An inscription on the statue notes that it was "erected by public subscription to commemorate a life of usefulness."
