Description

The statue of James Reid, created by W Goscombe-John ARA in 1903, is located in Springburn Park, Glasgow. It features a bronze figure of James Reid standing on a tall granite pedestal that has classical detailing, an inscription, and bronze plaques. The statue is surrounded by wrought-iron railings that have art-nouveau designs, with plain granite terminal posts marking the enclosure.
