Description
Moray Bank, located at 21 Institution Road in Elgin, is a house built around 1845 by A and W Reid, following designs by William Robertson. This two-storey, three-bay house features a central doorway and is constructed from finely dressed rubble with ashlar dressings. The first-floor window in the center is topped with a pediment and has a cast-iron anthemion balustrade over a shallow balcony, which is supported by a cornice with brackets. The windows have 4- and 12-pane glazing. The house has end stacks and a piended slate roof, along with rubble garden walls.
