Description
Kinrara is a two-storey, three-bay house built around 1845 by A and W Reid, following designs by William Robertson. The building features tooled ashlar stonework with polished ashlar dressings. The central entrance is topped with a shallow pediment and an anthemion finial. On either side of the entrance, there are projecting canted windows on the ground floor, while the central window on the first floor is also pedimented and has 12-pane glazing. The house has coped end wallhead stacks and a piended slate roof. Surrounding the property are coped rubble garden walls.
