Description

Girnigoe is a cottage located at 35 Moss Street in Elgin, built around 1830 in the style of William Robertson. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and features five bays, with the central three bays slightly recessed. The exterior is constructed of rubble with broached dressings, and it has a central pilastered doorpiece. The cottage has deep eaves and two canted dormers on the north and south sides, along with lying pane glazing. The roof is piended and covered with slate, and there are coped ridge stacks. Additionally, there is a low rubble garden wall surrounding the property.
