Description

This is a small house, likely dating to 1705, although it was significantly altered in the early 19th century. Originally stuccoed on the front, the stucco has since been removed to reveal a timber frame. The house has a parapet and a gable at the side, which is tile hung. The rear is weatherboarded. There are three storeys and only one window visible on the front. The first and second floor windows are modern casements with leaded panes, while the ground floor window is a sash with glazing bars in the upper half. A doorway on the side is topped by a hood supported on iron brackets, and has a later glazed door. The Little House forms part of a wider group with numbers 20 and 21 on West Street.
