Description

18A East Parade is an early 19th-century building constructed of roughcast, with the west side featuring tile hanging. It has a low-pitched slate roof, quoins, and wide bands. The building stands three storeys high and is two windows wide. The windows have moulded architraves, with second-floor sashes that include vertical glazing bars. The first-floor windows have been replaced with modern top-opening-light windows. The ground floor features large modern aluminium frame plate-glass restaurant windows, topped by a cornice. On the right-hand return, there is a second-floor round-headed sash window with glazing bars, and a flat-headed sash with glazing bars on the first floor below. This building is included for its group value with Nos 18A, 19, and 20.
