Description

18 East Parade is a small two-storey building dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. It has an irregular hexagonal shape with a canted front. The first floor features weatherboarding on the front and sides, while the ground floor is finished in stucco. The building has a ripped slate roof. On the first floor at the front, there is a segmental-headed window with pointed gothic panes and intact glazing bars. Below this, a square-headed sash window, which has no glazing bars, has been converted into a small fixed-light shop window. There is a plain doorway on the small splayed southeast side, which has a modern glazed door. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 14, 15, 15A, 16, and 18.
