GV II

House. C17, part cased in early C18, refronted mid C19. Timber frame and red brick, largely stuccoed. Steeply pitched tiled roof. 3 bays. 2 storeys and attics. Mid C19 facade has projecting entrance porch to centre: recessed 6 panelled door with rectangular fanlight, small architraved lights in returns, bracketed sills, cornice to flat head on porch. Recessed glazing bar sashes, architraves with bracketed sills. Plinth, plat band, cornice to blocking course, pilaster strips at ends. 2 box dormers over outer bays. Internal right end stack. Right gable end is C18 red brick with burnt headers, diapering along gable line, blocked segmental headed openings, 1 small light. Left gable end is plastered timber frame with exposed plates and purlins, C19 moulded bargeboards, 2 light casements, conservatory lean-to. To rear brick casing to far right only, some pargetting on first floor. C19 lean-to outshut, whitewashed brick, slate roof, an entrance and a stack. Interior not inspected. (T.O. Beachcroft and W.B.
