Description
The structure is a former whipping post located about 20 meters north of No. 15 on Datchworth Green. It dates from the 17th century and is made of timber, standing approximately 2 meters high and set in a concrete base topped with a pyramidal metal cap. On one side of the post, there are rough iron handcuffs shaped like an "M".
