Description

This is a small barn located at Britton's Farm, approximately 25 metres northeast of the main building. It dates from the 17th century and was altered in the late 18th century. The barn has a timber frame, with part of the structure replaced by a brick wall on the southwest side, while the rest is covered with weatherboarding. It features an old tiled gabled roof and consists of four framed bays. The roof is supported by a double purlin structure, with both queen posts and queen struts in each truss. Some of the posts have jowls and curved braces. The barn is included for its group value.
