Description
Pearce's Farmhouse is a hall house that has been converted into a residence. It dates from the 15th and 17th centuries and has been altered in the late 20th century. The building is timber framed with painted brick infill and features an old tiled gabled and half-hipped roof. It has an L-plan layout with four by two framed bays, with the old hall located on the northwest side. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a chimney with an offset head on the northwest ridge. The windows are 20th-century, consisting of two and three-light leaded casements that are irregularly spaced within the frame. The west front has three irregular bays and includes a 20th-century gabled entrance porch positioned to the left of centre. An interior inspection was not permitted at the time of the survey.
