The Old Post Cottage is a house that originated as a cottage in the 17th century, with 20th-century extensions. It features a timber frame with painted roughcast infill and some painted brick, topped by an old tiled gabled roof with a chimney on the left side. The building has an L-shape, consisting of two framed bays and a brick extension to the right that continues to the rear. The east front has two bays of timber framing with straight braces, while the rest is painted brick. On the first floor, there are four 20th-century two-light leaded casement windows, and on the ground floor, there are three two-light and one three-light similar windows. To the right, there is a 20th-century gabled porch with a 20th-century door behind it.
