Description

Warblers Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has been extended in the 20th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, with brick repairs and an extension, partly painted, and has a thatched roof. The cottage is one-and-a-half storeys and originally two bays, with a poorly preserved timber frame, although a single-storey two-bay extension was added in the 20th century. The front façade features a central gabled brick and tile porch with an old plank door. To either side are two-light leaded casement windows, and above is a two- or three-light casement window within an eyebrow dormer. Chimneys are located at each end. The 20th-century extension on the right-hand end has a two-light casement window and a half-hipped roof. This building has group value, contributing to the character of the area.
