Description
Yew Tree Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has been extended in the 20th century. It features a timber-frame construction with colourwashed brick and a thatched roof, while the addition has a tiled roof. The cottage is one and a half storeys high and consists of two bays facing the road, with a 20th-century bay added at the far end. The front of the cottage has a four-panel door situated between the original 17th-century bays, which are covered by a downswept hood. Each bay contains a two-light casement window, with a small casement window in an eyebrow dormer above the centre. The far 20th-century bay includes timber framing and a two-light casement window, along with a similar window in a pent-roofed dormer above.
