Description

Driscolls Cottage is a 16th-century cottage that was altered in the late 20th century. It features a timber-frame structure with wattle and daub, with one end rebuilt in brick, while the other end has a weatherboarded lean-to and gable. The cottage has a thatched roof and consists of three bays, with one and a half storeys and a lean-to at the right end. In the centre and left bays, there are two irregular two-light casement windows, with similar windows at the right end and a single casement window at the left end of the right bay. Above the centre and left bays, there is a late 20th-century eyebrow dormer with either two or three lights. The roof is half-hipped, featuring a ridge piece and a stack above the right bay.
