Description
Bridge Cottage is a cottage that dates back to the 16th century and was remodeled in the early 19th century. It has a timber-frame structure with colourwashed brick infill on a flint plinth, and is encased in brick and flint. The cottage features three bays and is one and a half storeys tall, with the right bay rebuilt and extended to two storeys, while a weatherboarded store has been added to the left end. The road-facing side includes a large two-light casement window under a rendered brick arch with a six-pane window in the added right bay. The left two bays have been rebuilt in brick, each with an irregular two-light casement window. There are stacks at both ends of the right part and at the left end, and the weatherboarded store has double doors.
