Description
The Malthouse Inn is a public house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made to the rear in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick in header bond and features an old plain tile roof. The building is two stories high and has three bays, with an outshot at the rear. A central gabled porch made of timber and brick includes a half-glazed door. On either side of the porch, there are 12-pane sash windows beneath rubbed brick arches, complete with shutters. The first floor has a raised blue header band and features three 12-pane sashes. There are end stacks topped with 19th-century combed ridge tiles. To the left, there is a weatherboarded garage, and to the right, a 20th-century toilet block.
