Description

Michelmersh House is an early 19th-century farmhouse that has been altered in the 19th century and is now a private house. The front facade is brick, rendered and painted, with a slate roof. The house is two storeys and three bays wide, with a stable block to the right. A central Doric porch is glazed with French doors, and each side has rectangular bay windows with tripartite sashes, repeated above. There are tripartite sashes to the upper floor. The eaves are covered with plaster, and the roof is hipped, with three stacks behind the ridge. The left-hand side features three-light segmental head casements, connected to a three-bay, one-and-a-half storey stable block by a short wall. The stable block has double doors and stable doors, and a hipped roof.
