Description

The Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has been altered in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with painted brick and a thatched roof, along with a flat-roofed extension. The building has a rectangular plan, consisting of one framed hay with a catslide roof over an outshut to the west and a 20th-century extension to the south. It is one and a half storeys high, with flanking chimneys on the north and south sides, and a dormer window cut into the thatch on the east side. The east elevation includes a half-glazed 20th-century porch located off-centre to the left and a 2-light casement window to the right.
