Description

Malt Cottage is a late 18th-century brick cottage located on Hill Green, Leckhampstead. It is constructed of grey bricks with red dressings, and has a plain tiled roof. The building has a rectangular plan with an extension to the south. The west elevation features a central forward break with a gabled pediment. A chimney is located centrally on the main block and another at the junction of the blocks. The forward break includes a slight recess rising full height to a semi-circular arched top, flanked by three-light casement windows; the ground-floor windows have cambered heads. A central boarded door is situated below an insurance plaque.
