Description
This milestone, located on the south side of Bath Road in Hare Hatch, dates from the 18th century. It is made of stone and has a triangular shape. The east face features incised Roman lettering that reads "To Reading 7 miles Bath 76," while the west face displays "To Hyde Park Corner 32 miles Maidenhead 6 Colnbrook 15." Additionally, there is an old bench mark on the south face.
