Description

Scarletts Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been altered in the 18th and 19th centuries, with small extensions added in the 20th century. The building features chequer brickwork, a brick plinth, and a first-floor string course. It has a tiled gabled roof with three dormers and two-light leaded casements. The north-west front includes three dormers and irregularly placed windows, comprising an 8-light and two 6-light wood mullioned and transomed windows, some of which have leaded lights. On the first floor, there are two sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has five 20th-century 4-light casements and an early 19th-century sash window in the left-hand corner.
