Description

Worlds End Farm House is an early 17th-century farmhouse, now a house, with alterations dating to the 18th and 20th centuries. It is timber-framed with brick infill on the west side, tile hanging to the north and the north end of the east front, and brick to the south and the south end of the east front; the roof is tiled. The rectangular plan runs north to south and includes a lean-to on the west side and a cross gable on the north side. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a band at the first floor level on the east side, a central ridge chimney, and a small gabled dormer on the south side of the roof. The east elevation features a lower wing to the left with a two-light casement window. The centre has a three-light casement above a four-light casement, and to the right there is a three-light casement in the cross gable and a four-light casement above a three-light casement. A central boarded door is sheltered by a gabled hood.
