Description

This is an 18th-century house that was altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of grey brick with red dressings and has tiled roofs. The main block runs east to west, with two sections set at right angles to the north and a small single-story extension to the east. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a string course at the level of the first-floor window sills. There are relieving arches above the ground-floor windows, featuring key blocks and springers. Two 19th-century dormers are visible on the south side, and chimneys are located at the east end of the ridge and at the junction of the blocks to the north. The south elevation features two sash windows with arched heads, flanking a central, half-glazed door with a simple rectangular fanlight, all sheltered beneath a latticed porch.
