Description
Milestone located on the west side of Ruscombe Old Bath Road. This milestone dates from the late 18th century and has a triangular plan shape. It features incised Roman lettering on the south face, which reads: "To Hyde Park Corner 33 miles, Maidenhead 7, Colnbrook 16." The north face indicates "To Reading 6 miles, Bath 75," and the base is marked with "Parish of Ruscombe."
