Description
Ruscombe House Stables Lodge is a house that has been divided into two residences. It dates from the early 19th century and was altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of orange brick and features a hipped slate roof. It stands two storeys high with a cellar.
The southeast front has flat eaves supported by widely spaced cut brackets and includes four flanking chimneys. The main section of the building consists of three bays with tall four-pane sash windows. In the center, there is a six-panelled entrance door set within a half-glazed porch.
On either side of the main part are lower two-storey wings that have similar eaves and roofs. The right-hand wing has two irregular bays, while the left wing features smaller windows and a 20th-century bow window on the ground floor.
