Description

Milestone located nearly opposite the junction with Burchetts Green Road. This milestone dates from the early 19th century and is made of stone. It has a square shape with rounded corners and a rounded top. The east face features incised Roman letters that read: "To Reading 9 Miles Bath 78." The west face displays the inscription: "To Hyde Park 30? Miles Maidenhead 4 Colnbrook 13."
