Description

The village well, now disused, dates from the 17th century and was altered in the 20th century. It features a circular structure with an old tiled gabled roof supported by vertical posts at each end. Inside, there are two end cross beams with curved braces that support a plate for the rafters. The well is surrounded by a 20th-century brick wall laid in header bond, and there is an iron cover plate over the well.
