Description
Old Manor Cottage is a small house set in a beautiful garden, dated 1795, with extensions added in the 19th century and restored in 1962. The exterior features a mix of painted render and painted brick, topped with an old tile roof that has both hipped and gabled sections. The building has a rectangular plan with extensions on the west and south sides and stands two storeys tall, with a chimney located on the south side.
The entrance front showcases two 2-light 19th-century casement windows with glazing bars, alongside one 2-light leaded casement window. In the center, there is a 6-panel door, with the top two panels glazed, situated beneath a small gabled porch. The garden front is symmetrical, comprising three bays with 19th-century casements featuring glazing bars, although the center window on the first floor is blocked.
The larger house next door to the west does not have any special architectural interest.
