Description
The Greyhound is a house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It features chequered brickwork and an old tile hipped roof. The building stands two storeys high and has a tall chimney on each side, both with offset heads and clay pots. The front is symmetrical with three bays and has offset eaves. The windows are three-light casements with glazing bars. The central bay has a blind window on the first floor, and below it is a six-panelled entrance door with the top two panels glazed. Across the entire width of the ground floor, there is a 20th-century glass verandah supported by wooden posts. There are small one-storey extensions set back on each side, with a two-light casement with glazing bars on the left and a plank door on the right.
