Description

This is a late 17th-century cottage, which has been altered and extended in the 19th century and is now a house. It is timber-framed with painted brick infill and has an old tile gabled roof. The building is rectangular, originally comprising four framed bays. It has one and a half storeys and external chimneys on the gable ends, featuring large, weathered bases.

The west-facing front has three bays. It features early 20th-century leaded casement windows, and three gabled dormers with two-light windows projecting through the roof. On the ground floor, there is a three-light window and a two-light window to the left of a 20th-century panelled entrance door, which is set within a gabled porch. Two two-light windows are located to the right of the entrance door. Inside, there is an inglenook chimney. A large, rear extension dating from the 19th century is not of special architectural interest.
