Description
This 18th-century milestone is located 220 yards east of Thicket Corner on the south side of Bath Road. It is made of stone and has been reset. The east face features incised Roman lettering that reads: "To Reading 11 miles Bath 80." The west face also has incised lettering stating: "To Hyde Park Corner 28 miles Maidenhead 2 Colnbrook 11."
