Description

The White House is a late 18th-century building that has been modernised. It is two storeys and has an attic. The exterior is roughcast with a parapet, and the roof is hipped with old tile, featuring three dormers and flanking chimneys. The building has two four-pane windows, flanking a central window. The first floor windows are three panes wide, all with an ogee glazing pattern to the top panes. There are two tall modern casement windows on the ground floor to the left and in the centre, and a modern door consisting of two large and two small panels to the right, set within a doorcase of fluted pilasters, paired cut brackets, and a flat cornice hood. The door is flanked by a pair of single-light windows. A modern extension, slightly set back to the right, is of similar design and uses matching window glazing.
