Description
Duns is a building that was originally a group of cottages, converted into a house in 1964. It dates back to the 17th century and has been extended to the right in the 20th century, as well as at the front in the 1960s. The structure is timber framed, with a whitewashed brick base and some whitewashed brick infill above the thin frame. It features a hipped roof covered with plain tiles. The house has two storeys and includes a rebuilt stack positioned to the right of the center, with bracing on the angles of the first floor. There are three framed bays, with a square bay projection under a hip roof located to the right of the center. The first floor of the bay has continuous casement windows, while the lower level has irregular fenestration. Casement windows are distributed irregularly throughout the rest of the house. Additionally, there is a glazed porch at the right end, situated at an angle with the extensions.
