The extensions are of brick and sandstone. The cottage has plain tile roofs with ridge stacks on both the left and right sides. It is two storeys high, featuring a number of casement windows, three on the first floor. A 19th-century plank door is situated to the right, adjacent to the gable front extension which runs across to the main house. A 20th-century stone extension with a door is located to the left. Inside, there are deep brick fireplaces with wood lintels.
