Description

A house with shops on the ground floor, dating from the later 18th century. It has a brick facade topped with a roof of Kent tiles, including a hipped dormer, and brick ridge and end stacks. The building is two and a half storeys high, with a regular four-window arrangement. A stucco dentilled cornice runs along the top, above a coped parapet. The windows are set within flat, rubbed brick arches. The first floor has twelve-pane hornless sash windows, while the upper half storey has six-pane windows. A recessed shop front, dating from the late 20th century, features a moulded cornice with triglyphs, supported by two pilasters and a Tuscan column. The interior has undergone alterations.
