Description

No. 19 High Street is a house with a shop, built in 1769, as indicated by the rainwater head. The building is constructed of red brick with fine pointing and features a Kent tile roof. It stands three storeys high and has a two-window range. The original parapet has been concealed, and there are flat rubbed brick window arches with stone sills. The first floor has 12-pane hornless sash windows, while the second floor has 16-pane sash windows. The ground floor includes a 19th-century shop front with a cornice and console brackets, along with a panelled plinth and renewed windows that have glazing bars. The interior has been significantly altered.
